Ahlborn’s New ALMEMO® 202 Measuring Instrument for Digital Sensors

Ahlborn Mess- und Regelungstechnik GmbH (Germany) - The ALMEMO® 202, the latest measuring instrument from Ahlborn, has been developed to accommodate a wide range of digital sensors. Sensors can be connected at either one of its two available measuring inputs using a completely new plug type incorporating its own integrated A/D converter and serial interface.

With this new D7 plug technology the quantities and measuring ranges used by sensors are completely independent of the measuring instrument. Each D7 plug gives access to up to 10 display / function channels. This feature is of course a particular advantage when it comes to connecting multi-function sensors.

However, with standard sensors too, this technology offers not only temperature and atmospheric pressure compensation but also a wide variety of sensor-specific functions.

The ALMEMO® 202 is a compact, stable measuring instrument suitable both for mobile and stationary applications. Its energy-saving technology ensures long operating times even when not connected to the mains supply. Its brightly illuminated graphics display shows measured values, peaks, averages, and limit values - all in a clear and easy-to-understand way. This device offers outstanding value for money; it has been devised for special measuring operations and for tests in research and development projects.
