Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management, has announced the Unity Momentum, the new PLC that enables legacy Modicon Momentum users to standardize on single programming software (Unity) to now manage their small, medium and large controllers. While protecting their historical application and I/O investment, customers gain access to an easy evolution path to the PlantStruxure integrated plant architecture.

The upgrade to Unity Momentum is cost effective and low risk. The new controller can be integrated with a larger existing PLC, while allowing customers to import their developed Modsoft, Proworx or Concept applications as well as retain the installed I/O.
