Ziehl-Abegg (Germany) – “We’ve reached half a billion. By the end of November we reached sales of half a billion euros”, says Peter Fenkl, the CEO of Ziehl-Abegg. The Künzelsau-based industrial company develops, builds and sells fans and electric motors for lifts, medical technology applications, remotely operated underwater vehicles and electric buses.

2017 will go into the Ziehl-Abegg books as a record year. After achieving sales of 484 million euros in 2016, by the end of December this year the company expects to post annual sales of around 530 million euros. This represents an increase of ten percent.

The positive development right across every continent is being driven by modern, energy-saving products that are used in numerous fields. For example, in modern wind turbines or large data centres, because low energy fans for cooling and ventilation are always in demand.
