ADLINK Offers Yocto BSP GitHub for Developers

ADLINK Technology (Taiwan) - Press Release: Enables faster evaluation of solutions with minimal effort.

ADLINK Technology, Inc., a world class leader in edge computing, is pleased to announce the availability of a single-source Yocto BSP across multiple platforms based upon Yocto Sumo. Source and build instructions are now available on GitHub to support our available hardware platforms. Supporting Intel x86-64, NXP Arm-based and Rockchip Arm-based hardware, this Yocto BSP covers the vast majority of ADLINK boards and systems available on the market.

Hardware level abstraction allows for a single-source Linux BSP based on Yocto Sumo, allowing software developers, device manufacturers, or product engineers to have a quick build and evaluation of boards and systems without the burden of searching for software resources. The final deployment of binaries created with our pre-validated Yocto BSP helps users to evaluate solutions faster and with minimal effort in setting up the cross-compiling environment, resulting in a significantly shorter time to market. Each repository on GitHub provides a clear list of the current supported hardware that has been fully tested and validated, and also provides guidelines on building the binary images.
