Zemic Europe B.V. (Netherlands) - Automated frying system with integrated Zemic weighing solution

Consistent portioning is essential in the food service industry, where product quality, efficiency, and waste reduction are key priorities. To address these challenges, Devoteq developed an automated frying system capable of accurately dosing portions of fries. By integrating a weighing system into the dosing process, the machine automatically measures each portion and ensures consistent results for every serving.

To achieve the required weighing accuracy and reliability, Devoteq partnered with Zemic Europe. Together, they selected a weighing solution that delivers precise measurements, stable performance, and seamless integration into the automated system.

How Zemic Europe supported the project:

From the beginning of the development process, Devoteq was looking for more than a component supplier. They needed a technical partner who could actively contribute to solving engineering challenges related to the weighing system.

Selected Zemic load cell and transmitter:

After extensive evaluation and testing, Devoteq selected the Zemic L6D-C3-10kg single-point load cell in combination with the T1-4 transmitter for the application.

The L6D-C3-10kg was chosen for its OIML C3 accuracy class, excellent eccentric load compensation, and compact single-point design, making it particularly suitable for the platform scale. Its stable output signal ensures consistent measurements, while its cost-effective design provides a balance between performance, accuracy, and value. 

Combined with the T1-4 transmitter, which enables straightforward integration into machine control systems, the solution delivered reliable real-time weighing data and proved to be the preferred choice for the final machine design.
