IMP Aerospace & Defense Chooses the GEC AN60Z

General Electrodynamics Corporation (United States) - In September of 2020, IMP Aerospace contacted GEC regarding their need for weighing equipment for their C-130 Hercules Program. In May of 2021, they received their custom C-130 configured weighing system.

The compact size and portability of the AN60Z scale system worked perfectly with their hangar setup and the Best-in-Class AN60Z did not disappoint. The AN60Z’s superior accuracy and ability to read out in 1 lb. increments made it an easy choice for IMP. They look forward to many years of performance and repeatability out of this system. GEC’s aircraft platform scales are designed for the long haul, and maintain their annual calibration cycle for decades. That’s right, decades, when other scales are being repaired needing costly, overloaded shear beam load cells replaced just to be calibrated properly. GEC has been providing weighing equipment for airlines, MROs, business aviation and military aviation for well over 40 years, and we continue to innovate.
