The Warehouse Manager will lead the shipping, receiving, machine crating, and inventory areas of the warehouse, focusing on establishing and continuously improving processes. This materials leader will work across teams, ensuring the successful movement, storage, and tracking of materials within the warehouse. The Warehouse Manager, while having a strong focus on safety, will lead his/her team with respect, while ensuring team members have training to achieve their goals. This is a great opportunity for an experienced warehouse leader to create an impact through developing best practice processes and innovative solutions, while surrounded by individuals driven by teamwork, respect, and ensuring a positive, engaging, FUN culture.

Additional key responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and lead the Warehouse Department.
  • Manage shipping, receiving, machine crating, inventory control and distribution of materials to the production floor.
  • Responsible for inventory control processes, including cycle count program, ensuring high levels of inventory accuracy and control.
  • Determine warehouse allocation and storage planning to ensure efficient space utilization and efficiencies in the order picking process.
  • Develop communication and performance management methodologies which serve to keep the Shipping and Receiving team advised relative to business requirements, performance and how operational improvements are being used to exploit strengths.
  • Drive plant safety by being aware of surroundings and looking for potential safety concerns before an incident occurs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years warehouse / shipping / receiving experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Knowledge and experience with ERP/MRP systems and processes.
  • Proven experience in the implementation of new processes and procedures.
