Maintenance with Sonotec Ultrasonic Devices - More than just leak detection
Sonotec Ultraschallsensorik Halle GmbH (Germany) - An efficient service and maintenance is crucial for the competitive edge of a company. The ultrasonic specialist SONOTEC offers a wide range of ultrasonic testing devices for preventive maintenance and non-destructive testing (NDT).

Ultrasonic transmitter with adjustable intensity, to detect defect seals at doors and windows of cabins, climatic chambers and fire doors

With the multi-purpose devices of the SONAPHONE family many tasks of preventive maintenance can be carried out quickly and efficiently. The innovative ultrasonic testing devices can be used for:
  • Leak detection in compressed air, gas and vacuum systems
  • Tightness testing of unpressurized systems
  • Valve and steam trap inspections
  • Bearing Monitoring
  • Electrical discharge inspections
The application of the SONAPHONE leads to increased operational reliability and plant availability. Industrial plants, chemical plants, engineering companies or medical institutions benefit from an improvement in energy efficiency as well. Up to 66 percent of the energy costs can be saved by repairing leaks in a compressor system regularly.

Multifunctional with a wide range of applications:
Five different types of devices and sophisticated accessories provide the right solution for every application. For example, the SONAPHONE M has an integrated data logger allowing single and long-time tests. Through USB interface all data can be transported to a computer and evaluated quickly and easily in Excel charts. By applying an ultrasonic transmitter the SONAPHONE devices can also be used for tightness testing of cabins, hatch covers, containers and other unpressurized systems. An optional temperature sensor for the SONAPHONE K measures surface temperatures up to 800 °C.

Ultrasonic wall thickness gauge SONOWALL 50 enable the precise measurement of wall thickness of components made of metal, glass, ceramics and plastics

Non-destructive Testing:
The light ultrasonic wall thickness gauges SONOWALL 50 and 60 enable the precise measurement of wall thickness of components made of metal, glass, ceramics and plastics. These efficient devices allow the measurement of materials with curved, rough and even corroded surfaces. In this way, wear and corrosion can be detected quickly and easily

The compact ultrasonic flaw detector SONOSCREEN ST 10 can be used for weld inspection as well as for thickness measuring of plastics or fault checking of composite materials. That way delaminations can be detected easily. The vertical and angle beam probes of SONOTEC are due to their variety of design and size, optimally suited for a multitude of applications.
