The feed movement is generated by an axis ball bearing mounted on both sides which is driven quickly and dynamically by a BLDC motor BG45 with integrated 4Q-Servo controller, power electronic and bus interfaces.
Standard voltage supply of the BLDC motor is 12 VDC and 24 VDC.
The stainless steel spindle is surface coated with Kerkote TFE (Teflon). The coat avoids the need of additional lubricant and allows a maintenance free operation throughout its entire life cycle.
The pre-stressed lead screw offers a backlash free linear movement with good damping properties and quiet operation.
Standardized CANopen, Profibus or EtherCAT interfaces simplifies greatly the commissioning.
Different motion profiles with free definable user specific acceleration or deceleration ramps can be realised.
It is possible to integrate limit switches and/or initialization signals with the software technology directly in the drive unit. A Starter-Kit with convenient software “Drive Assistant” is available.
The integrated in the BLDC motor rotary magnetic encoder with a resolution of 1024 impulses allows the precise positioning of Back lash free carriage in the micron range. With maximum loads up to 20 kg and maximum axial forces up to 00N adjustment speeds up to 0,6m per second can be achieved.
The mounting position of the linear drive unit can be freely chosen. Besides the horizontal or overhead arrangement also the vertical operation is possible without problems because of the self-locking characteristic of the spindle. The unique and compact aluminum profile of the guide rail succeeds through a remarkable rigidity and a high stability along the entire length of the drive unit.
The linear positioning actuators are available with a travel up to 1 m standard in gradings of 200mm. Longer stroke distances are available on request. Additional guide rails can run as further active or passive adjustment sliders on the spindle.
The motorized linear actuators are combinable to multi-axis systems.
