Schneider Electric (France) - The integration of the Invensys subsidiary Eliwell into Schneider Electric is already producing its first synergy effects, one being the introduction of the completely new Modicon M171 controller series. This new series is at the center of Schneider Electric's comprehensive offering of solutions for HVAC and pumping applications focused on building automation.

With Modicon M171, Schneider Electric now offers a complete range of scalable controller hardware for HVAC automation in industrial applications and building automation. It also covers “booster pump” solutions for building water supplies.

This family of controllers is part of a range of hardware products offered for the development of complete automation solutions. These include optional modules to expand inputs and outputs, a large number of communication modules, thermostats, display solutions, and sensors and actuators appropriate for the intended applications. Schneider Electric also offers expertise in designing automation solutions with SoMachine HVAC and an extensive assortment of preconfigured standard solutions, consisting of tested and documented hardware architectures as well as application-specific Software Libraries.
