First of all, PITX-APL0 Series uses every possible solution to accomplish a compact or even portable size , including (1) Pico-ITX form factor of only 100 mm x 75 mm; (2) low-power Intel Apollo Lake SoC processors to minimize cooling constraints; (3) eDP interface for thin-profile LCD display panel support; (4) next-generation M.2 socket for Wi-Fi / Bluetooth wireless expansion; and (5) CE / FCC Class B residential-grade compliance to guarantee user's safety in case of developing a portable device.
Spectacular Graphics Performance:
In addition, driven by Intel® Apollo Lake SoC processors, Atom® E3900 Series, Celeron® N3350, and Pentium® N4200 with Intel® HD Graphics 500 Series GPU integrated, which can deliver three times higher graphics / video performance than Bay Trail platform at relatively low power consumption, PITX-APL0 Series can support silky smooth 4K Ultra HD content playback at 60 frames per second. Developers can leverage it to build a graphics-intensive device to fulfill market requirements for high definition contents.
