Pro-Face (Japan) – Pro-face announces the expansion of the SP5000 series by adding a 15” wide screen, and a 19” wide screen unit to this enhanced modular HMI family.

Adding these two new display sizes, provides a more in-depth offer for those with applications that demand a larger screen. Both the 15” wide screen and 19” wide screen are equipped with an enhanced glass top design providing greater visualization and durability. The intuitive P-CAP touch panel operation detects 5 touch points at once and features “Touch Cancelation” to prevent unexpected detections by water, or dust.

Connect to the new enhanced Open Box rear module to run a variety of Windows applications on WES7. The new SP-5B41 Open Box unit comes standard with Pro-face’s HMI Runtime, and offers 2x the CPU computing power, 3x the storage space, and 2x the speed when accessing data than it’s predecessor, the SP-5B40.

Overall this enhanced HMI series offers sophisticated machine performance; production management and predictive maintenance utilizing operation data. Expanding the series with two new displays, and by upgrading the open box unit, makes this series Pro-face’s most flexible and powerful HMI offering.
