Korenix Launches New Industrial Fast Ethernet to Fiber Media Converter for Intensive Vibration & Shock Environment
Korenix Technology Co., Ltd. (Taiwan) – Korenix Technology announced its new Industrial Fast Ethernet to Fiber Media Converter-JetCon 2301S Slim Media Converter. With only 30mm in width, it can be deployed flexibly while providing high performance under heavy machinery industry and interferes electromagnetic allying power substation environments.

Korenix JetCon 2301S is a single port 10/100 TX to 100 FX media converter. It fulfills extreme low latency requirements with invariant forwarding latency from 64 to 1600 bytes packet length by supporting Multi-forwarding mode- switch mode, modify cut-through, pure converter and converter with auto-change mode. The Auto Link Loss Forwarding technology allows fault detection in a short time, which largely improve the efficiency on maintenance.

By supporting 1.5KV Hi-Pot isolation protection and the design of -40~70℃ wide operating temperature, it is ideal for hazardous environment applications. Moreover, as compliant with EN61000-6-4, EN50121-1, and EN 50121-4 Railway standards, it is able to provide excellent performance under harsh environments featuring intensive vibration/shock and severe electromagnetic interference.
