OMRON Ranks in Top 5% of EcoVadis Sustainability Ratings

Omron (Japan) - Press Release: OMRON Corporation (Headquarters: Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto; President and CEO: Junta Tsujinaga) has earned a Gold rating from EcoVadis, placing it in the top 5% for sustainability performance.

The assessment is a platform for evaluating the sustainability performance of more than 150,000 organizations and companies in 185 countries and 250 industries to improve sustainability and transparency throughout the supply chain. Using its own evaluation criteria based on global sustainability standards, the assessment evaluates companies' sustainability efforts in four areas: "Environment," "Labor and Human Rights," "Ethics," and "Sustainable Procurement".

Amid growing demand for companies to disclose sustainability information and implement sustainability initiatives in their value chains, OMRON received high marks in all four areas of this evaluation, leading to its "Gold" rating.

OMRON aims to maximize corporate value by creating both social and economic value through its long-term vision "Shaping the Future 2030" and strives to continue to address social issues that meet the expectations of various stakeholders, including customers and suppliers, in areas such as the environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement, in order to contribute towards the sustainable development of society and growth of OMRON.
