Scaime S.A.S. (France) - SCAIME is introducing eNod4, its new generation weighing controllers integrating fieldbus and Ethernet connectivity. High performance weighing module, eNod4 has been specially designed for easy and fast integration in any automated system.

eNod4 offers a perfect connectivity with the main PLCs on the market by providing an interface to Modbus-RTU, Modbus-TCP, CANopen, PROFIBUS-DP, PROFINET or Ethernet/IP networks. To meet the flexibility needs of developers, all the parameters and functions are accessible through the PLC communication bus.

Optionally, eNod4 may be associated with a touch screen eNodTouch. This HMI allows weight display, weighing system calibration and complete eNod4 setting. eNodTouch is connected to a dedicated eNod4 port and works in parallel with the PLC link.

SCAIME designed eNod4 for most demanding weighing applications in terms of accuracy and speed, such as filling and packaging machines. So eNod4 offers a maximum resolution of 500 000 divisions, a frequency up to 1600 measurements / s and includes a library of powerful digital filters dedicated to vibration cancellation.

For its implementation, eNod4 also features an USB port for configuration using eNodView PC software.
