Location: Online (Webinar)

AUVESY-MDT (Germany) - Press Release: How do you address the biggest challenges in automation? How do managers in automated industrial production maintain a complete overview at all times? And how can downtimes be reliably avoided?

The online event “CONNECT 2023” by AUVESY-MDT provides valuable answers to currently relevant questions in the industry.

Current trends, deep market insights and effective real-world examples - the "CONNECT 2023" trade event helps industrial companies maximize automation success and minimize risks. On June 27, global professionals will gather in AUVESY-MDT's prestigious online event.

Today's production plants are highly complex. They work with a large number of very different system components from a wide range of manufacturers. Those who want to master the greatest challenges of automated industrial production can benefit again this year from the experience of renowned experts from science, the tech scene and business. The focus topic of "CONNECT 2023" is "Automation Success".

In the various presentations, participants will learn how they can effectively tackle the diverse tasks and problems in automated production and increase effectiveness in data management - and sleep better at night. One of the high-profile speakers is Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Bauernhansl, Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPA in Stuttgart, with his presentation on "Data Governance as the Key to Automation Success". In addition, experts from Robert Bosch, ThyssenKrupp, Arla Foods and Heineken will share exciting best cases from production practice, showing how they have achieved improvements in their automation processes. Further, resilience coach Friederike von Benten will offer exercises and tips for strengthening personal resilience in everyday business life.

Stefan Jesse, Co-CEO, and Dr. Jonas Kalb, Head of Product, will be among the speakers from AUVESY-MDT. Dr. Kalb will discuss in particular the new features of the octoplant pro hub and their advantages. The new features enable the creation and individual editing of dashboards based on existing as well as imported data. With the easy-to-implement SaaS solution, smart asset management is achieved at the click of a mouse, enabling an improved understanding of all physical devices - with information on manufacturer, device type, firmware versions and much more.

"If there are irregularities in production, there is a threat of expensive downtime. In addition, there is pressure to increase productivity, reduce costs and manage a vast amount of data," explains Jesse, Co-Chief Executive Officer at AUVESY-MDT. "With our CONNECT online conference, we have created a digital platform that offers solution approaches, expert impulses and concrete application examples for practical implementation."

Dr. Jonas Kalb, Head of Product at AUVESY-MDT, adds: "CONNECT is the go-to event for production and OT professionals. Leading experts from all over the world present strategies, opinions and applications in automation, addressing far more than just the current market insights. This makes the CONNECT trade event one of the most important online conferences for safeguarding automated production processes."

This year, the presentations and case studies will take place in two sessions on June 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
